Photos of both myself and Flash at FCPR Howl-o-ween Party could be seen in our local county newspaper today. Of course they had to put the most horrific picture of me doing the Fear factor challenge, so I'm a little embarrassed about it. However Flash had a pretty cute photo of him in his costume. All in all it is an honor to be in the paper again.

Today Flash and I attended the annual FCPR Howl-o-ween Party. Not only did we have a great time but won some really cool prizes too. Flash and I won 1st place in the dog/cat race, took 2nd in the eyeball rollar race (lost by 2 seconds. Darn.), were runners up in the costume contest, and Flash enjoyed feasting on the hot dogs all day long in the bobbing for hotdogs station. I also entered a "for humans only" fear factor challenge and won 1st place. I don't know if I want to admit what I had to do to win, so I will leave you guessing. heheh Flash and I just had an overall great time and can't thank Cheryl for making this years party another great success.

Flash and I went out and supported the Caring for Creatures annual fall dog walk today. We enjoyed a quick 2 mile hike and then a few great games. One happened to be a pick the poo up (fake poo) relay game that ended up in a tie. We had a great time and it couldn't have been a more beautiful day.

Mav and Nik were featured in an Howl-o-ween fun/safety article in the newspaper's HOMEstyle October 2007 edition of our Daily Progress newspaper.

At the third BRASC show Penny was Altered Best of Breed under Judge Billie Kneale Kellogg.

At the second show Penny was Altered Best of Breed under Judge Sue Woodle.
First show of the day Penny was Altered Winners Bitch and Best of Breed for her second point under Judge
Joseph Molloy at the BRASC Bare Bones Show in Weyers Cave, VA.
7/22/07: ASCA Win
Penny was Altered Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex under Judge Mark Lucas for her first point at the Carolina ASC in Mebane, NC.

All of us here at Prima send out our love and prayers to our friend, Lori Tracy of Image, on the loss of her life partner, Harry. He was a a heck of a nice guy and we are sad to learn of his passing. Rest in peace now Harry. Rest in peace.

Lizz's best & truest friend, Maverick, went to the Rainbow Bridge this evening. His body was overtaken by hemangiosarcoma, a cruel and noncureable cancer. Mavs leg swelled to triple its normal size. So he was brought in to the Vets office the following day. The Vet suggested we do a biopsy to see what was going on to cause this as he had never seen anything like it before. The next day Mav was acting just as loveable and happy as he usually is so we took him to the Vets office as planned for the biospy. Just hours after he awoke from surgery....Mav was gone. There will never be another Maverick. He was truly a special friend. Forever he will live in our hearts until we can be reunited with him again one day.

Flash took 1st place in the Easter Egg Roller Race and 2nd place in the Easter Hound Hop at the Easter Hound Jamboree held at the Dog Spot. Both Flash and his poorly captured person made the newspaper. After seeing the photo in the newspaper, district Delegate, Rob Bell, wrote us a very nice letter and even sent us a copy of the photo.

Our dear friend Kristi Thayer of Idlehour Aussies passed away. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She will be terribly missed by all who were privilaged to know her.
