"Mindy"

Mindy was a Spaniel mix who my mom thinks was mixed with samoyed. Mindy was a sweet natured girl who tolerated all my crazy childish antics, enjoyed stealing my McDonalds chicken nuggets, put up with all my friends coming and going over the years, but never did like me riding "shot gun" in the car...she rather despised me for it.
Mindys favorite place to sleep was on my moms front room loveseat (although she was not supposed to sleep on the furniture). Mindy would always sneak on the couch when we were away from home and try to jump off in time before we would walk in the door. Christmas was Mindys favorite holiday. She would always sleep under the christmas tree and loved to open up her christmas presents. Going to Grandma and Grandpa's was always her favorite treat. My grandparents always spoiled her with McDonald hamburgers and a million treats every time she came over. You could say "Going to Grandma's, Mindy?" and she would perk up and get all excited.
Mindy was a great companion to me growing up and I have many great memories of our time together. She truly was a great childhood friend who I will continue to love and cherish to the end of my days.
